7 Sunday: The Blue Breeze Band will perform in Spreckels Park at 6 p.m. as part of Coronado Promenade Concerts’ summer series.

10 Wednesday: The Coronado Public Library, in collaboration with the Silver Strand Youth Center, will be hosting events for all ages every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. all summer long. On June 10, participants can enjoy a drum performance, followed by a drum lesson. 

11 Thursday: The Coronado Public Library hosts open chess play on the second Thursday of every month between 3 and 5 p.m. in the Winn Room. Enjoy playing chess with others, or learn to play or improve your game with help from facilitator and local chess coach Chuck McClung. Chess boards and pieces are provided. The event is open to all adults age 18 and older.

12 Friday: Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz with San Diego vocalist Erika Davies for a summer concert in the Winn Room of the Coronado Public Library. Known for her distinctive vintage sound and captivating stage presence, Davies brings warmth, charm, and elegance to a program of jazz standards and timeless classics.

14 Sunday: The Coronado Ferry Landing is slated to host a free weekend concert featuring the Crimson Collar Band at 2 p.m.
