If you think kids are the only ones who throw tantrums when they’re unhappy, think again. A little Holland Lop Rabbit, named Honey, has gone viral for showing just how dramatic bunnies can be when they don’t approve of change. Her mom dared to rearrange her toy area, and Honey was not having it. At all.
In the clip, Honey stomps her little feet, zooms around the room, and makes it crystal clear that she’s furious. The caption sums it up perfectly: “Mom rearranged my toy area. Now I’m mad.” And mad is right; she looks like she’s about to start writing a very strongly worded letter to management. Honestly, though? Her pitching a fit is less scary and more ridiculously adorable. Just look at this mad little baby bunny!
@tofu.honeyythankfully she changed it back after this video bc she realized I wasn’t happy #bunnyarea #bunnythump #bunnyparents #fyp #foryoupage
This is the cutest tantrum ever. In the clip on the TikTok account @tofu. honeyy, viewers were cracking up at Honey’s dramatic little meltdown. One person said, “Nobody hates change more than a rabbit. Mine would get so mad every time I cleaned his litter.”
Someone else added, “This is me when my grocery store rearranges its shelves.” LOL!
“Is that a bunny tantrum ?!? That’s quite possibly the cutest tantrum I’ve ever seen,” another person replied.
Another bunny parent said, “It’s funny because they think the thumping is really doing something. Like, no baby, you don’t scare me, and I actually think this is freaking adorable HAHAHA.”
Some bunnies can get very possessive over their little areas and toys, and probably for good reason, because toys are actually really important for rabbits!
Why baby bunnies need toys

In the above clip, you can see Honey exploring her new ball pit!
As silly as Honey’s tantrum looks, her obsession with her toys actually makes perfect sense. Rabbits, especially young ones like Holland Lops, need enrichment and stimulation to keep them happy and healthy. Toys give them something to chew on (which saves your furniture), dig at, toss around, and rearrange to their heart’s content.
Bunnies are also creatures of habit. Once they decide something belongs in a certain place, they expect it to stay there. When their space changes, they can get anxious, or in Honey’s case, downright dramatic. That stomping she’s doing? It’s a bunny’s way of saying I don’t like this at all, the equivalent of a toddler crossing their arms and pouting in the corner.
But as much as Honey tries to act tough, it’s impossible to take her seriously when she’s that small and that fluffy. Whether she gets her toys back the way she wants them or not, one thing’s certain: Her sass has officially made her an internet star.
