The 103rd annual Coronado Flower Show is fast approaching, and the Home Front Judging committee is seeking volunteers.

Home Front Judging, which celebrates the beautification of Coronado through awarding ribbons to homes with exceptional landscaping, will take place the weekend of March 28-30. The Coronado Flower will run on April 12 and 13.

The co-chairs of the event, Lori P. Smith and Kelly Kindorf, said no green thumb is required to volunteer — only an appreciation for all things that grow and a willingness to stroll Coronado’s streets, handing out ribbons to homeowners.

Volunteers can pick up their supplies and instructions in the Winn Room of the Coronado Public Library from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on March 27.

Those interested in volunteering can sign up on signupgenious.com.
