The Frosted Faces Foundation, a rescue organization out of California, rescues senior dogs and finds them forever families, all while providing these families lifelong medical care and supplies to care for these precious adopted seniors.
The Frosted Faces Foundation recently rescued about 100 dogs that were displaced due to the horrific LA wildfires that are now looking for their forever homes.

The TikTok account for @ABCNews reported on how these beautiful dogs need homes and people are applauding the rescue and the wonderful work they do.
One person commented, “Amazing organization! That is was a shining example of love and compassion.”
Another person replied, “Senior pups are the best and have the sweetest souls.”
Hopefully this encourages people to consider adopting one of these dogs and giving them all the love and care they deserve after going through this awful ordeal. The Frosted Faces Foundation truly are doing such a beautiful thing by caring for these pups. I hope they all find the best forever homes.
Reasons to adopt a senior dog

Adopting a dog, especially a dog that has spent weeks or months in a shelter, if an absolutely wonderful thing to do. But there are many important factors to take into consideration before you add a fur baby to your family, and they can include things like how much time do you have to spend with a dog? Do you work long hours? If you are gone most of the day it may be a good idea to adopt an older dog instead of a puppy who needs frequent attention and bathroom breaks.
Senior dogs deserve to live out their golden years before they cross the rainbow bridge in a home full of all the love and care they deserve. Many dogs don’t do well in shelters, and a dog who has lived all their life with one owner only to be surrendered may have a more difficult time with kennel stress. Adopting a senior dog means you will be freeing up kennel space for another deserving pet to find a home.
Finally, senior dogs are so loving and grateful and have a lot of life left to live.
If you are interested in donating, volunteering, or adopting your own dog (Or cat!), please check with your local animal rescue, breed specific rescue, or Humane Society. And please consider adding an older fur baby to your home. These pets deserve all the love in the world.
