Meet Ruby, the Pet of the Week who is available at PAWS of Coronado. Photo courtesy of PAWS.

Whether you feel like sunbathing, walking, running or laying in the shade with a good book, Ruby is 100% on board and available at PAWS of Coronado.

Her foster mom tells us she loved to spend time on the balcony whether it was sunny or shady, and kept great pace when they went for a run. On rainy days, she’s happy to sit near a window and watch the rain come down.

While in foster, Ruby headed up the welcoming committee (who doesn’t love to be greeted at the door by a smiling pup with a wagging tail?).

She enjoys chewing on Nylabones and stuffed animals, is smart as a whip and can catch treats in the air better than any dog we know.

She did well when she was home alone, generally given access to one room with her crate door open.

When she’s really happy, Ruby does the most gleeful zoomies. At the shelter Ruby may seem reserved, but in a home, Ruby is a champion snuggler and gives lots of kisses too.

All of the animals at PAWS are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and up to date on flea preventative.  Adoptions are by appointment only. If you are interested in adopting any of these animals, please visit the PAWS website at www.pawsofcoronado.org. r scan the QR code above and fill out an adoption application. Fostering, volunteering, or donating are other ways you can help our animals. For more information about our work or how to get involved contact Jennifer Stein @ Jennifer.Stein@pawsofcoronado.org
