23 Tuesday: Richard Lederer, San Diego Union-Tribune’s language columnist, will talk about the significance of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Gettysburg Address at 11 a.m. in the Coronado Public Library.
26 Friday: The Coronado Public Library is scheduled to host a concert featuring San Diego pianist and composer Irving Flores. A celebrated Latin jazz artist with more than four decades of experience, Flores is known for his vibrant piano style, inventive arrangements, and dynamic performances that blend jazz, Afro-Cuban rhythms, and Latin musical traditions. The event is at 1 p.m. in the Winn Room.
27 Saturday: The Coronado Ferry Landed is slated to host a free weekend concert featuring Ron’s Garage Band at 2 p.m.
27 Saturday: Coronado Playhouse is scheduled to host a patriotic concert titled, “The Music of America,” at 2 and 7 p.m. on June 27, and at 2 p.m. on June 28. Tickets range from $10 to $20.
