21 Tuesday: On April 21, local author Cary Lowe and his wife, Trish Butler, share their journeys across the U.S. and around the world traveling “on two feet and three wheels.” Despite the challenges of age and disability, they’ve explored by planes, trains, ships, buses and cars. 22 Wednesday: Club Coronado, a happy hour dance party for adults, will take place on April 22 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Coronado’s Veterans of Foreign Wars post at 557 Orange Ave. Music will feature the greatest dance floor hits from the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s. 24 Friday: Opera À la Carte San Diego, a women-run non profit opera company, presents a spring concert at the Coronado Public Library on April 24 at 1 p.m.
