1 Sunday: The Coronado Ferry Landing is slated to host a free weekend concert at 2 p.m. featuring Crown Island Jazz Band.

4 Wednesday: The Coronado Public Library, in partnership with the Coronado Island Film Festival, presents Film Forum Coronado, taking place the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the library’s Winn Room. 

Film expert Ralph DeLauro provides a brief introduction to each film and leads a discussion afterwards, often including pointers about how lighting or camera angles contribute to a scene’s mood or propel the story. The featured film on March 4 is “Hail, Caesar!”

5 Thursday: As part of the 10th Coronado Community READ, Coronado Public Library is hosting author Chris Sweeney to present on the writing journey behind the 2026 Community READ selection, “The Feather Detective: Mystery, Mayhem, and the Magnificent Life of Roxie Laybourne.” The event is free and open to the public and begins at 7 p.m.

7 Saturday: PAWS of Coronado is scheduled to host a Ruff Run on March 7 at Tidelands Park. Participants are invited to bring their dogs along for a 5K run or walk. Register at pawsofcoronado.org/event/ruff-run-2026/
