Similar to last week’s schedule, Coronado athletics has a lot going on in the middle of the week. Baseball will start the week off for CHS, and track will end it with a meet on Saturday. 

23 Monday: 

Coronado High School baseball is the lone team to play on Monday, with a game against Bonita Vista. Varsity is at home and JV is on the road. First pitch is at 4 p.m. for both games. 

24 Tuesday:

CHS tennis opens its week with a home match against Patrick Henry. The match starts at 3:30 p.m. 

The track and field team competes in the second league meet of the season at Kearny. Events start at 4 p.m. 

Islanders beach volleyball hits the road to face Patrick Henry at 4 p.m. 

Varsity softball is at home for its first game of the week against Bayfront. The game starts at 4 p.m. 

The freshman baseball team is at home to play Eastlake. First pitch is at 4:30 p.m. 

Both lacrosse teams play, with the girls’ team facing Patrick Henry and the boys’ team playing Granite Hills. The boys are at home, with games at 5 and 7 p.m. The girls are at Patrick Henry, playing at 5:30 and 7 p.m. 

25 Wednesday: 

CHS baseball plays its second game in three days, this one against Helix. Varsity is on the road and JV’s at home. First pitch is at 4 p.m. for both games. 

Boys’ volleyball is at home for its first game of the week against University City. Games start at 4:30 and 6 p.m. 

Beach volleyball is at home for a 3:30 game against Classical Academy. 

26 Thursday: 

CHS swim is at home for a meet against The Bishop’s School. Start time is 3:30 p.m. 

Tennis hits the road for a match at University City, starting at 3:30 p.m. 

Beach volleyball plays its final game of the week at home against Hoover, starting at 3:30 p.m. 

Varsity golf has a home match against Patrick Henry, teeing off at 4 p.m. 

CHS freshman baseball plays Eastlake for the second time this week, this time on the road. First pitch is at 4:30 p.m. 

Islanders boys’ lacrosse is at home to play Poway. Games start at 5 and 7 p.m. 

27 Friday: 

Girls’ lacrosse is the only team playing on Friday, with a home game against Agnes Irwin. Start times are 5:30 and 7 p.m. 

28 Saturday: 

The track and field team is headed to Mt. Carmel to compete in the Asics Invitational. Events start at 9 a.m.
