The Coronado Public Library is slated to host a pre-publication book launch event featuring bestselling thriller author Kaira Rouda and her newest novel “We Were Never Friends” on Jan. 28 at 6 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-order a copy of “We Were Never Friends” through adventuresbythebook.com to guarantee event admission and priority seating.
Rouda’s book centers on five former Theta Gamma Mu sorority sisters who reunite at a lavish Palm Springs estate for what is meant to be a celebratory engagement weekend. Instead, long-buried secrets, lingering resentments, and a shared tragedy from 25 years earlier begin to surface.
Rouda is an award-winning USA Today, Amazon #1, and international bestselling author of contemporary fiction.
At the event, Rouda will discuss “We Were Never Friends,” her writing process, and the inspirations behind her writing.
