Participants of all ages can join the Coronado Public Library’s Winter Read Challenge over winter break for the chance to win prizes.
Starting Dec. 20, participants can log their books at coronado.beanstack.org. Kids 10 and under can choose a prize, like a mini-Squishmallow or Pokemon cards, after they’ve read five books. This age group is eligible for a second prize and a book to take home if they report up to 10 books. Books read to a child, or books that are read to siblings, count as well.
Teens in sixth through 12th grade can report up to four books for two entries into a gift card raffle. One entry will be recorded when two books are read.
Adults earn up to two entries into the gift card raffle by reporting two books they’ve read. Audio books, graphic novels and e-books count for the contest.
The raffle winners are scheduled to be drawn on Feb. 1.
