The Coronado Junior Woman’s Club announced the return of the 16th annual Taste of Coronado, set to take place on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
The event serves as a self-guided tour bringing an anticipated 800 attendees to Coronado to explore the local culinary landscape — with innovative dishes, refreshing drinks, shopping booths, live music and more.
This year, a portion of the proceeds from the annual event will be donated to Forever Balboa Park, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sustaining and enhancing Balboa Park.
The goal of the Coronado Junior Woman’s Club is to raise enough money to help restore and preserve the Dorothea Laub Balboa Park Carousel, which was originally housed in Coronado’s Tent City.
“At the Coronado Junior Woman’s Club, our mission is to uplift our community through service, philanthropy and the celebration of culture and connection,” said Sara Stillman, A Taste of Coronado’s chair. “The carousel is a living symbol of imagination, joy, and legacy, all values that resonate deeply with our mission at CJWC.”
General admission tickets start at $80 and VIP tickets, which include a VIP lounge, Carousel Bar and front-of-the-line privileges, start at $138.
