In partnership with the city, the Coronado Junior Arts League presents “A Ghost Tale for Mr. Dickens” on Dec. 13 and 14, directed by resident director and artistic trustee Wilfred Paloma.

After 10 weeks of rehearsals, 24 Coronado kids are ready to take the stage with this holiday musical.

The production offers a magical take on Victorian London as Jack and Annie travel through time to help a despairing Charles Dickens rediscover his purpose — and pen the holiday classic that would inspire generations.

Performances at the Coronado Playhouse are scheduled for Dec. 13 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., and for Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased at https://cur8.com/25844/project/135404.
