The Coronado Public Library has a different musician scheduled to perform each Friday at 1 p.m. from Sept. 5 and through Oct. 31, as part of its 13th annual Autumn Concert Series.

The first concert on Sept. 5 will feature a performance by Jeremy Kurtz-Harris, principal bassist for the San Diego Symphony, in the Winn Room at 1 p.m. He’ll perform classical works inspired by folk music, world music, and more on the double bass.

Kurtz-Harris has appeared with the San Francisco Symphony, Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra and Australian Chamber Orchestra.

This year, the following musicians are scheduled to play: Nico Hueso (viola), Lori Bell (lyrical flyte), Vania Pimentel (Brazilian music on piano), Lesi Mei (classical piano), Phil Dannels (classical piano), Sophie Weber (classical cello) and Robert Wetzel (guitar fantasy through the centuries).

All concerts are free due to the support of the Friends of the Coronado Public Library.
