Any parent will tell you breaking up sibling fights is basically a full-time job. And pet parents? We’re right there with it, too, especially when the siblings are from different species. In this case, a very enthusiastic dog accidentally whacked his Cockatoo sibling in the face with his tail, and the bird’s reaction was an instant full-on screaming, tattling-to-mom level of outrage. He didn’t just squawk, he snitched. Loudly.
Check out the clip below and see if this scene feels a little too familiar. Because whether it’s kids or pets, the sibling drama is very real. Ask any parent home with the kids this summer.

The caption of this video basically translates to: “When the butt wiggler annoys the ball of feathers: Wake up service for the neighborhood.” LOL! I love how the Cockatoo just stomped right off. If he was talking he’d say, “That’s it! I’m telling!”
One person commented in German, “Mom! Mom! Help!” And it does sound like the Cockatoo is screaming for mom.
A lot of people worry about having different species under the same roof, but the truth is, tons of Cockatoos live with cats and dogs and get along just fine. In fact, many of them form strong little bonds. That said, just like human siblings, pet siblings have their moments. This just proves that even when they love each other, they’re still fully capable of being annoying.
Here’s another cute video of this Cockatoo!

A dog might get a little too wiggly and smack his feathered brother in the face with his tail. And the Cockatoo, oh, you better believe he’s going to scream about it like he’s filing a formal complaint with management. These small spats don’t mean they aren’t getting along, they’re just part of the daily drama that comes with living in a mixed-species household.
The important thing is to introduce pets slowly, supervise interactions, and let each pet have their own space when they need it. But once everyone settles in, you’ll be amazed at how sweet and hilarious their relationships can be. Because whether they’re covered in feathers or fur, siblings are siblings and sometimes, they just live to drive each other a little bit crazy.
