Bestselling author Jacqueline Friedland and Amazon First Reads author Rosa Kwon Easton will talk about their respective books at an event hosted by Adventures by the Book at the Coronado Public Library on Oct. 6.
Friedland is a USA Today and Amazon bestselling author. Her book, “Breathing Under Water,” is the story of two women whose paths converge in the most unexpected way: Berry is a vice principal raising a 16-year-old autistic son and McKenna is a college student caring for her grandmother with dementia while facing homelessness.
Kwon Easton is a No. 1 Amazon Reads author. Her book, “Red Seal,” tells the story of a Korean-born single mother and nurse and is based on her own grandmother. This is her book launch event.
The event is on Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. and registration is free and open to the public. VIP tickets with guaranteed seating are available with the pre-order of a book ($16.95-$18.95) for delivery to the event for signing. Books will also be available on Oct. 6 for purchase.
