Coronado MainStreet is set to host Puzzle Con, a puzzle-making competition, at Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill on Aug. 13.

The event calls on groups of four to tackle a 500-piece puzzle in three hours. The team with the most-completed product by the end of the time slot wins.

Each table of four costs $60 and includes one puzzle depicting a Coronado sunset, and one drink per person. All proceeds will go to Coronado MainStreet, a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of Coronado’s historic downtown district. Bluewater Boathouse’s happy hour menu will also be available throughout the event.

The competition begins at 1 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at coronadomainstreet.org/puzzlecon.
