1 Sunday: The band Laurie Beebe Lewis and the Electric Underground will perform in Spreckels Park at 6 p.m. as part of the Coronado Promenade Concerts’ summer concert series.
1 Sunday: Art in the Park will take place in Spreckels Park on June 1 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. More than 50 top artists in San Diego County, in every genre, will display their artwork, providing the community the chance to converse directly with the artists.
7 Saturday: Storybook Inspirations is a program that allows grandparents, active duty military and those who live far away to share the magic of books with children in their lives.
The program, facilitated by trained volunteers, films participants reading a story aloud to send to their loved ones. Once the video is finalized, it is sent to the participants in a secure and shareable YouTube link.
