From 4-6 p.m., expert wine maker and sommelier, Rodolfo Arcovedo, will bring his wines from the Guadalupe Valley to Aranda’s Cafe in Imperial Beach. 26 Saturday: Emerald Keepers, a local non-profit focused on environmental stewardship, will host a free paper shredding at City Hall from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

27 Sunday: The Coronado Island Film Festival’s student classic film study program will feature “The Great Escape” in the Winn Room of the Coronado Public Library at 1 p.m. on April 27. The event is open to any upper-middle and high school students, and there will be a post-screening moderated discussion.

3 Saturday: The Youth Chess Tournament will be hosted in the Winn Room of the Coronado Public Library from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tournament is open to anyone ages 8-18.
