The 7-second clip of pure musical genius shows Brewski sitting like the good boy he is with a green flute in his mouth. You would think it’s amazing enough that he’s holding the instrument on his own, but this pup takes it one step further and blesses the world with a little bop he wrote and it’s the performance of a lifetime. Seriously, bravo, Brewski!

“Any bands need a flute player?” the caption says and the comments section is going off on the massive talent this boy’s carrying.

“Already doing a search to find out how to get concert tickets,” the official Google account wrote.

“He’s my favorite artist,” one person added.

I’ve never seen this much talent before,” another said, while many others asked to reserve him for their wedding, naturally. If you’re wondering how on earth he learned this skill, Brewski’s dad said, “I taught him how to use duck calls and deer calls, now, I’m teaching him how to play the flute.” The flute-playing pup has a ton of other skills, but the flute thing is bar none!

Train your lab through the stages

There’s no contest when it comes to Brewski’s level of talent, but The American Kennel Club explains Labrador pet parents can rest assured, you, too, can teach your Lab to do impressive tricks. The key is knowing which age to focus on what technique for maximum results.

When you first bring your Labrador puppy home, work on the basics like socialization, puppy-proofing, grooming, and feeding schedules to set the foundation for what comes in the next phase. This is also an ideal time to begin teaching your pup house rules, potty training, and to ensure they’re getting adequate exercise and play time. Basically, let the puppy be a puppy for the first 6 months.

Between 3-6 months, eager-to-please Labs are ready to learn how to swim and take the stairs, they can take longer walks, and you can introduce obedience training with simple commands like “sit,” or “stay.” It’s also beneficial to teach them recall so they come to you when called.

Around 12 months, your puppy can endure a light jog and can now move into more advanced training for things like tricks, agility, or other activities like fetch. Labs are naturally good at—like retrieving!

Above all, always lead with positive reinforcement, high-value treats, and lots of praise. If nothing else, the time together strengthens your bond. No matter the age, dogs are always learning, so be patient. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll have a dog who will rival Brewski’s flute-playing!
