The Red Fox Tails will bring their distinctive surf rock sound to the Coronado Public Library on Friday, Aug. 9 at 1 p.m.

Their performance will channel the nostalgic essence of an undiscovered 70s surf movie soundtrack, with a blend of instrumental jazz, grooving rock and diverse international influences that will have the audience relaxed and grooving simultaneously.

Since their formation in 2010, the Red Fox Tails have brought their unique-relaxed yet spirited sound to venues and private events across Southern California, Baja and New Orleans. The Red Fox Tails features Felipe Benavides on guitar, Ron Bocian on drums, Troy Jennings on saxophone and Doug Walker on bass.

Doors will open 15 minutes before the performance. Find out more by heading to cplevents.org.

The Summer Festival is made possible thanks to the support of the Friends of the Coronado Public Library and the Hotel del Coronado.
