The Coronado Island Film Festival (CIFF), in partnership with the Coronado Ferry Landing and Moonlight Events, is presenting another outdoor movie night on June 28—this time, featuring “Top Gun: Maverick.”
“At CIFF, we cherish the opportunity to bring free programming to our community,” Merridee Book, the CEO and artistic director of CIFF, said. “There’s nothing quite like gathering with friends under the stars on the San Diego Bay at Ferry Landing, enjoying great food and an even greater film!”
Happening the weekend before the 4th of July, “Top Gun: Maverick” will kick off the Independence Day festivities.
The movie will start at 8:15 p.m. once it gets dark outside, but check in will start at 7 p.m. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets and low beach chairs to the Coronado Ferry Landing Bayfront Lawn.
Tickets are free, but a reservation is required due to limited space on the lawn. The lawn will open at 7 p.m. and organizers ask that viewing etiquette be respected, with tall chairs moved to the back of the space.
