It’s common to wonder what our pets do while we’re away, and if you happen to have a pet cam, you’re lucky enough to get an inside glimpse! One lonely Bulldog named Lavelle couldn’t wait for his parents to get home and decided to take matters into his own paws.

In the video captioned, “My Bulldog likes to send alerts through our security camera when he wants us to hurry home,” Lavelle idles up to a 2-way camera set up inside the house. Once he’s in clear view, his parents get an alert detecting movement. They can then log in to see the guilty party. Spoiler alert: he’s not sorry!
This funny clip isn’t his first time making a security camera appearance, either. “I was DUPED,” Lavelle’s Mom wrote in the comments. “I tried the 2-way audio feature ONCE and life hasn’t been the same since. I think he thinks we morph into the cam when we leave.”
Clearly, this good boy is a force to be reckoned with. He loves his parents so much, he can’t stand to be away from them. Thanks to Lavelle’s attention-obsessed heart, he has a lot of fans rooting for his parents to stop what they’re doing and get to him. “If you guys don’t go home right now, I’m breaking in your house to go hug your dog. I mean our dog,” one viewer wrote. “The boss says time to come home!” another added.

Are Bulldogs known for being stubborn?
According to Be Chewy, Bulldogs have a few unique personality traits that make them one of the most hysterical breeds to care for. Aside from their adorable stature and toothy grin, they love getting their way. “They will pout and sulk if they feel rebuffed, making some hilarious faces in the process,” the blog says. “Once you give them the attention they crave, they immediately slip into silliness and roll all over the floor with excitement and paw at you for more.”
In general, Bulldogs have a funny way of getting their point across and aren’t known for changing their minds easily. It can come off as stubborn or strong-willed, even demanding at times. Such is the case with Lavelle and his polite, yet repeated request for his parents to return home to be with him.
