One of Coronado’s top events — the 48th annual Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting — starts at 6 p.m. on Dec. 1.

According to the Coronado Chamber of Commerce, attendees will experience a display of seasonal colors, twinkling lights and festive music down the streets of Coronado.

The parade make its way fromĀ  7th Street through Orange Avenue looping around at RH Dana & Adella. It will consist of vibrant floats, marching bands and a cheerful cavalcade spreading Christmas joy, organizers said.

Following the parade, Santa Claus will lead the countdown and unveil the 18,175 beaming lights surrounding the massive Rotary Club tree.
