As our dogs get older, sometimes it’s harder for them to be left on their own. That was the case for one dog whose owner had the perfect way to ensure he was never missing attention.

On October 24, TikTok user JuJu (@juliarwolf) shared a video of the perfect solution a professor at the University of Miami had for their older dog. Take a look!

“Our 14-year-old dog gets anxiety when my dad is gone,” she shared in the text on the video. “So we decided to bring her to his class at UMiami & this is how it went…

The video that accompanied the message shows the sweet dog walking up and down the aisle of the classroom, stopping to get pets and living for all the attention.

You can see the Black Labrador dog smiling at the front of the classroom, sitting in a chair, and even a moment where it looks like she’s leading the whole class and having the time of her life.

“The cutest class on Miami’s campus,” the caption on the video reads. The video was set to the song “home – sped up + reverb” by Tazzy, fast forward>> and pearl.

The comment section filled up after the video received more than a million plays.

“Now that is a way to have full attendance,” one person wrote.

“Extra credit to students that bring toys and treats for puppers,” joked another.

“Um, I would have made it to EVERY class had that good boy been there. What absence, Professor? I need the pets,” someone else shared.

“What a beautiful furbaby! the best student,” wrote another.

According to Daily Paws, a Labrador Retriever “are a sweet-natured breed, outgoing and eager to please their humans.” The site explains they’re “friendly with new people and animals they meet,” which is probably why this sweet girl is having the best time in the classroom.

The publication also states that this breed of dog generally has a lifespan of 10 to 12 years, but if any doggy should live forever, it’s this one.
