When it comes to canine curiosity, there’s no limit to the lengths (or heights) a dog will go to. This idea took center stage in a recent TikTok showcasing a stunning Borzoi named Eris, who effortlessly stood on her hind legs to get a glimpse of her new neighbor.
As we see in the clip from @eriszoi, posted on Friday, September 15th this lanky pup is seen towering over the fence to get a peek. Eris didn’t just capture her new neighbor’s attention but also captured the hearts of thousands of viewers.

Borzois, also known as Russian Wolfhounds, are famed for their graceful stature and elongated features. Eris, with her impressive height, is no exception. They were originally bred to chase fast prey across expansive Russian terrains. In addition, they have an agile and tall build and their elongated legs provide them not only with speed but also with the ability to see over obstacles when they’re out hunting.
Eris’s behavior is also a nod to the breed’s heritage. Her enthusiasm to look over the fence and her spirited little jumps show the Borzoi’s inquisitive nature, with a dash of playfulness.
