It’s strange to think about all the animal moms who are out there raising their babies and taking care of them just as we would with our babies. Like a mama bear who lives at a California zoo but decides to take her cubs swimming.

On TikTok, Wildlife of So Cal Foothills (@wildlifeofsocalfoothills) shared a video of a mama bear and her cubs enjoying a moment together in the pool. It’s adorable and you need to see it.

In a nearly two-minute video, a mama bear takes her two cubs to the pool for a cool-down swim.

Mom’s happy in the water and the two cubs are weary, taking their time and deciding to join her in the water while play fighting with each other. If they weren’t bears, it would be a regular day at the local pool for a mom and her two young kids.

“Mom bear Bella finally brought the bear cubs to the pool!” the video’s caption reads. “t’s such a cute moment for the bear family. Why are bear cubs playing in the pool so adorable to watch?”

The comment section was filled with people who thought the video was as adorable as we do.

“Girl I would Never get anything done! I’d just be Bear Fam Cam all day long!” one viewer wrote.

“Watching them rassle w each other is beyond adorable,” another shared.

“They’ve found the big pool!!! Mama bear is saying kids behave! Kids are like what can we get into here!,” another viewer shared.

According to National Geographic Kids, black bears live an average of 20 years in the wild and can grow to up to 600 pounds. “Black bear cubs stay with Mom for one to three years while she teaches them how to live in the wild,” the publication shares.

“Then, when they’re ready, they head off to survive in the woods alone — until they start a family of their own.”
