I am honored to write in support of Rebecca King for City Council. Endorsed by retiring Council woman Carrie Downey, Rebecca has demonstrated the knowledge, experience and dedication that uniquely qualify her for this office.
During her time as a city attorney in Norfolk, Virginia, Rebecca oversaw municipal compliance with applicable laws and successfully secured state and federal emergency funds that had been initially denied. She will be a trusted steward of Coronado’s resources.
Through her service on the Design Review Commission, Rebecca has ensured local development adheres strictly to the general plan. As a council member, she will make sure future developments enhance our city while preserving our small town charm.
Additionally, Rebecca has served our community through numerous organizations, including the CUSD Guiding Coalition, the CoSA Foundation board, the Coronado Island Film Festival, and as manager of the Sand Dollar Too shop at NAS North Island.
Rebecca King is the clear choice for City Council, and I encourage you to join me in supporting her with your vote.
Frank King is a Coronado resident.
