A juvenile was hospitalized Saturday night after a party at Stingray Point got out of hand.

The underaged individual was treated by the Coronado Fire Department and transported to the hospital while several other teenagers were found to show signs of high alcohol consumption.

Police estimated around 200 kids fled the area on foot and bicycles upon the officers’ arrival.

One curfew citation was issued and parents or guardians were contacted to take custody of other juveniles.

Police noted that the scene had a large amount of litter and empty alcoholic beverages left behind, and several abandoned bicycles that are in the police department’s custody.
