Small dogs never let their size hold them back. Breeds like the Chihuahua, Yorkie, Dachshund, and Miniature Pinscher are highly spirited with personalities that outsize their little stature. These petite pups make no bones about who’s in charge.
Scout the Pomeranian took matters into his own paws when a bear entered his home. The bear soon regretted walking through the front door and high-tailed it outside with Scout on his heels.

In the TikTok from @kaylakleine, a home camera recorded a large bear casually walking through the front door. The bear took his time looking around as he strolled through the house.
Suddenly, the bear made a beeline for the door and ran out, with Scout chasing the bear out of the house as he wildly barked in protest.
The very large animal literally bolted across the back yard with the Pomeranian close behind. Scout practically flew through the air as he bounded down the stairs in pursuit of the uninvited visitor. The fearless fur baby didn’t seem to notice the massive size difference between himself and the bear.
Apparently, the furry intruder helped himself to some of Scout’s dinner. “The bear was in our kitchen for a few minutes eating the dog food,” the caption revealed. No wonder why Scout was upset!
Scout didn’t back down
TikToks that followed showed the bear hiding behind a fence as the persistent Pomeranian stood in front of him with nonstop barking. Another post featured Scout standing guard in the yard, still vocal and kicking at the ground as if to say, “And don’t come back!”
Pomeranians are known for their self-confidence and big attitude. While they look like adorable poofy balls of fur, these precious pooches command a room and consider themselves the leader of the home. Poms are highly intelligent and vocal, frequently speaking their mind.
This breed also loves to be the center of attention and soak up the spotlight. Poms are little extroverts who are very social and can work a crowd. Put all that in this tiny package and you have a powerhouse for a pup.
That bear may want to think twice before darkening Scout’s door again.
