Kittens are a never-ending portal of entertainment, no matter what they’re doing. They see the great big world as something fun to be explored and fully lived, and honestly, what a great lesson. Some of the tiniest soldiers make the best teachers, especially when they’ve had a tough journey to get where they are.

Lowe’s is one black kitten who lives up to the hype. This itty-bitty wild man who, once rescued, had to learn to walk again and he’s come so far. He’s now using his new mobility to give Mom a good laugh with his stealthy stalking skills!

Described as “scrambly” and “a vague concept of a cat” as if “drawn from memory,” Lowe’s is a living, breathing version of pipe cleaners in motion! His wiry, frantic hide-and-seek stalking is giving sleep paralysis demon vibes in the cutest way possible!

With an awkward gait that doesn’t quite match the rest of his small body, the former stray kitten was found at, where else — Lowe’s Home and Garden Center. He was so badly injured that no one thought he’d make it.

With a lot of TLC from his current foster mom, @natsfurbabies, Lowe’s slowly started to heal, which included learning to walk again. However hilarious this little guy is sprinting around Mom like a misaligned construction project, he’s doing his very best with that unique strut (and having fun again, too)!

The pint-sized kitty’s vet X-rays revealed that, though he still has an injury on his paw, no amputation was necessary. His “Picasso paw” only adds to his perfect squiggly running form, right along with those “work of art” airplane ears.

Lowe’s is so special, and he’s worked so hard to heal; it’s an incredible thing to see him happily play the way all kittens deserve to. One day, he’ll be big and strong, but I hope that pipe cleaner aura never fades.

@natsfurbabiesHe definitely didn’t insist we add the last one or anything 😬

From a tiny rescue kitten struggling to survive with severe injuries to the most adorably different boy learning how to “cat,” Lowe’s is one for the books, cartoonish ways and all.

Whatever happens along his journey next, or however the remainder of his boo-boos heal from here, Lowe’s is proof that where there’s hope, however small, there’s life — and this cutie-pie is finally fully living his to the fullest!
