Coronado High School senior Reif Souder notched first place victories in both the 110-meter hurdles and the 300-meter hurdles at the Central League meet on March 26, establishing his place as the Central League leader in both events.

Junior Eddie Gonzalez also emerged victorious in the shot put and discus events, while in the running events, Davin Collins took first place in the 100- and 200-meter dashes and was a part of the winning 4 x 400-meter relay team. The team also included freshman Ah’Mahn Oliver, junior Nathan Ayan and junior Mason Gibbs.

Junior Michaela Gistaro won four events: the 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 4 x 100-meter relay and 4 x 400-meter relay. She was joined on both relays by sophomore Maya Wilson, junior Summer Little, and senior Lauren Gilhooly.

Other event winners for the girls were Gilhooly in the 400-meter dash, freshman Ava Schlomer in the 1600-meter run and Claudia Wagner in the Long Jump, with a leap of 15’10”. Wagner is the current Central League leader in that event.
