One of the worst things that can happen in a dog’s life is when a beloved stuffie is in desperate need of a bath, and they have to take a break from their companion. Teddy the Toy Poodle just experienced this terrible, emotional event, and he’s not happy about it one bit.
This dramatic pup’s “traumatic day” is something nearly all dogs can relate to, but it’s too funny. Watch this “day in the life” of Teddy when his favorite stuffies go into the wash and he can’t cope!

With such a horrible thing happening, how could Teddy bear to go on?! The recent clip shared by @teddy.the.toy.poodle_ sums up the pup’s personality in a nutshell. The “Casanova of Cornwall,” as he’s known, may have a lot of feelings when his stuffies go into the wash, but it’s he’s real smooth when it comes to winning over the ladies. Blame it on his polished good looks, or his puptastic personality that shines in every photo, but this guy’s got it going on (and he’s aware)!
“Poor Teddy! Did you get a snack to recover from the trauma?” one person asked. “How awful for you and your little friend, hope you both soon get over your traumatic day,” another wrote., while another added in part that their mom does the same thing joking, “I’m going to consult a lawyer and find out my rights in this situation. I suggest you do the same, Teddy.”
Whether Teddy files a complaint against Mom over this trauma remains to be seen, but in the meantime, he’s pretty fly for a little guy!
Toy Poodles have oodles of personality
Though this one clip of Teddy’s reaction over his stuffies is hilarious, PetMD notes that Toy Poodles are born with built-in, one-of-a-kind, big personalities. Known as one of the smartest dog breeds, Toy Poodles are as eager to please as they are entertaining.
Standing at a fraction of their Standard Poodle counterparts, the Toy version usually stands around 10 inches tall, and weighs 4-6 pounds, though it varies. With this breed, size means nothing! These charismatic pups pack a punch with their playful and affectionate nature, combined with an eagerness to perform, learn, and impress everyone around them.
These small dogs are true athletes with hearts of gold, and make great companions in just about any home, as long as they’re equipped with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. Overall, Toy Poodles are too smart for their own good and might even protest when it comes to their stuffies!
