Milagros Bautista (L) and Norma Abuan (R) were two recipients of handmade quilts from a 12-member quilting group of Sharp Coronado Hospital volunteers. Approximately 50 quilts were distributed to patients and residents of Villa Coronado and the hospital’s subacute unit. According to a social media post by Sharp Coronado Hospital, this tradition started years ago, an idea sparked to bring a little touch of home and warmth to the hospital’s patients.
