A new City Council was sworn in on Dec. 17, adding two new council members and a new mayor — which means the council will have new appointments on several committees and boards.
Council member Carrie Anne Downey remains on the council with previous Council member John Duncan, who was sworn in as Coronado’s newest mayor, and Mark Fleming and Amy Steward serve as the newest council members.
Duncan made the suggestions for each appointment and the council members all voted unanimously to approve the suggestions.
