While all pet parents strive to give their pets the perfect amount of individual focus they need each day, sometimes their pet’s wishes and time don’t mesh well, and one thing will usually happen–your pet will find you and demand all eyes on them. And the way one precious Cockatoo asked for his dad’s attention is cute and really funny.

Stalker, their nickname for Bandit, really wants to play, and his method of getting attention from his Dad is pretty funny.
He grabbed a toy and started chasing his dad around, hoping he’d be willing to play. It didn’t help that Bandit was also trying to bite.
It’s funny to see the way the two play, teasing and taunting each other and playing a little game of hide-and-seek. Bandit is good at dancing around the toy, too.
The comment section was a mix of funny statements and questions about life with Bandit, a hyper bird who also bites.
One person asked, “Can Dad hold Bandit or just play?” The answer was that they can’t really handle Bandit because “he bites.” Another asked if Dad was scared of Bandit, which returned the response, “Oh yeah, [because] he bites Daddy.”
Some other cute comments include “sweet and sour,” “It’s so funny how your dog looks at him,” and “It was a setup when he dropped the ring.”
Do Cockatoos make good pets?
Cockatoos are great pets, but some serious considerations need to be kept in mind before you decide to bring one into your family, WebMD warns.
“Cockatoos are high-maintenance birds emotionally and physically, so if you adopt one, make sure there’s someone around to keep them company,” the website warned. “Their tendency to be loud (whether happy or sad) makes them unsuitable for certain indoor environments.”
These birds are really fun, though, because they’re known for being “playful, cuddly, loyal, intelligent, and incredibly affectionate toward humans. ” However, they also need a lot of attention (Bandit, for example).
Cockatoos are good at demanding attention and know that any attention is good attention, which means if they feel like they’re not being loved enough, they’ll be “noisy and messy and may chew on walls and furniture,” WebMD shares.
One thing’s for sure — there will never be a dull moment when adding one of these beautiful creatures to your family. Get ready for plenty of entertainment, antics, fun, and pure love!
