In honor of the Fourth of July, Coronado homes decorated with the most patriotic flair were celebrated in the third annual Coronado Fourth of July (CFOJ) Home Front Decorating Contest.

This year, the winner of the contest went to Linda and Dave Urich’s home at 640 J Ave.

The contest was hosted by CFOJ and the Coronado Floral Association and homes entered were judged based on the creativity, display and placement of decorations as well as overall presentation.

The judging panel was led by Kelly Kindorf and Lori Smith, the Coronado Floral Association’s 2024 Home Front Judging co-chairs and Carrie Downey, the contest coordinator.

There were a total of 48 entries and the grand prize winner and top five homes were recognized.

CFOJ said they appreciate all of the Coronado residents who took the time to decorate their home fronts to share their excitement in celebration of Independence Day.
