In an 8-second video, we’re introduced to this cat toy, and while it’s very unassuming, we understand what this cat mom is saying.

The text on the screen reads, “Best and worst cat toy ever,” along with a little hint at what the toy looks like.

The camera panned over to the kitchen table, and we could see an adorable grey and white kitten playing under the table. Next to the cat was a green fuzzy toy jumping along on the floor. The cat isn’t paying attention to the toy that is wiggling along the floor, but it’s really hard to ignore because it’s hilarious.

It’s bright green and wiggling, flicking one side up and then the other. It looks like there are round eyes on one end and little feet along each side.

The caterpillar flicked its tail again, and the cat ran by quickly, jumping on the toy before quickly bouncing right back off and out of the camera frame.

The caption of the video is written in Dutch, and according to Google Translate it reads, “hilarious until you accidentally walk past it at night.” And the comments, many written in Dutch also joke about this cat toy.

“That’s cool,” one person wrote.

“Hilarious, hopefully you don’t have any neighbors downstairs,” someone else added.

“I had turned off the fish that moved like that until I stepped on it once and was shocked,” joked another.

“My cat is really going to love this,” another TikTok user shared.

“What a wonderful thing. Nothing is more fun than watching a kitten play,” wrote another.

“My cats are terrified of that thing. They like it when it’s off,” joked someone else.

According to Dominique, the toy is called the Beeztees Moving Caterpillar Cat Toy, sold at Pet Palace in Netherland.

How much exercise should a cat get each day?

One of the best things about having a cat in the family is they can, for the most part, take care of themselves. We have to make sure they have food, water, treats, a clean litter box, and toys. We don’t have to coordinate a walk outside or really be too interactive in their exercise each day.

But exercise is really important for cats, and it’s essential they receive enough each day. And that’s were cat toys can come in and help. yes, like the creepy caterpillar, toys help cats get out their energy, keep their body healthy, and their brains too.

According to Wag! on average, cats should get at least 30 minutes of exercise each day.

“However, older cats and those with health problems may need less exercise,” the site explains. “Unlike dogs, cats aren’t built for long bouts of vigorous exercise. Split up play sessions into increments of 10 to 15 minutes long.”
