The Coronado Unified School District is scheduled to have a Community Partners Workshop during a separate special board meeting this month on March 26 to discuss the organizations that provide educational funding and support for students in the city.

“We’re talking about our budget right now, and that’s a huge piece of what’s on,” Board President Alexia Palacios-Peters said. “[We’ll be] looking at all the different funding streams that are coming from outside [the district] — nonprofit organizations and what our parents are doing to support our district.”

A Budget Study Committee meeting will be held on April 17 at 3:45 pm.

The next regular board meeting is set for 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 at the district office.

Correction: A previous version of this story incorrectly named the time of the Budget Study Committee Meeting. It has been updated to the correct time, 3:45 p.m. on April 17.
