If you’ve never been to Animal Kingdom at Disney World, you might think of it as a zoo, but in reality, it’s not even similar. Yes, there are animals living here who you can observe like you can at the zoo, but they’re given huge areas to roam and live their lives in settings very similar to their natural habitats, and that means that new babies are being born at the theme park all the time. It’s always really exciting to see a new little one make their debut — once it’s safe for them to join the rest of the animals in the habitat where they’ll be living, of course.
This week, the spotlight is on a brand new baby elephant who is finally ready to play with everyone else on the savannah, and this footage couldn’t be more adorable. Then again, it’s not like there are many things (if any) in the world that are cuter than a baby elephant.

The Disney Parks TikTok account shared footage of the new baby elephant on Thursday, February 15, and it’s totally worth the watch. Baby Corra is here in all her glory, walking around the savannah like she owns the place. She’s so tiny!
One of the elephant keepers at Animal Kingdom, Haley, introduced Corra to the world on her first day hanging out among the other animals, which also happened to be the first time that guests would be able to see her while riding Kilimanjaro Safari. How special!
“Corra is very clumsy and silly. Everything she does is so cute,” Haley said. “She likes to blow bubbles in her drinker, we give her lots of different enrichment items, she loves to play in her mom’s food.”
What a sweet baby!
More about Baby Corra
As People reported, Corra was born on December 13, and even though she’s tiny, she’s actually quite large — in fact, she weighs over 300 pounds, and has gained 100 pounds since she was born. She must be eating her vegetables!
Something extra special about Corra is that she’s part of three generations of elephants who all live at Animal Kingdom. Her grandmother, named Donna, lives there, along with her aunts, Stella and Luna. How cool is that?
Corra also happened to be the first baby elephant born at Animal Kingdom in seven years, so she’s kind of a big deal already.
If you’re visiting Disney World anytime soon, be sure to check out the safari so you can see Corra in all her glory. A little one this cute deserves to be ooh-ed and aww-ed over!
