On Wednesday, December 13, a dog mom shared an adorable video of her two pups spending some quality time together. In the clip, her Labrador Pit Bull mix is curled up on the couch when her new rescue pup attempts to join him for some cuddles.

It seems as though this rescue pup is still getting the hang of what it means to have a fellow dog sibling. While he’s still learning how to initiate cuddles, he’s got more than enough love to make up for it!

Awww, both of these dogs are so sweet! This adorable little Pug named Gus walked tentatively over to his brother, Briggs, and gave the Pittie mix a few sniffs before climbing over him to get an awkwardly positioned snuggle. How cute are they?

There’s nothing better than cuddles with your loved ones, and it seems like Gus is learning this very important lesson with ease. After a few more attempts, we imagine he will have no problem curling up right in the crook of Briggs’ legs–they’ll fit together like lock and key!

Pugs are a great addition to any family

In some circles, small dogs get a bad rap. Many people say they’re too yappy, overly aggressive, and stubborn. However, small dogs like Pugs are a pleasure to have around.

They’re the perfect addition to any family for a variety of reasons, most notably due to their adaptability, social tendencies, and compatibility with kids. Pugs are known for fitting well into all types of lifestyles, from the hustle of a busy family with kids to an elderly, single person home. No matter what curveballs life throws at their family, these dogs will adapt just fine!

Furthermore, Pugs are incredibly social and friendly animals when it comes to humans as well as other animals. This breed is always ready to make new friends, and they aren’t afraid to try, just like Gus had no trouble worming his way into Briggs’ previous life as a single dog. Gus shows us why Pugs are a great breed for a family where they won’t be the only furry friend in the house!

Lastly, they’re well suited for a life with human siblings. Their sociability and adaptability means they are usually ready to join in on whatever shenanigans the little humans are cooking up. Plus, their small size means they’re much less likely to accidentally injure children. If Gus found himself with a human baby sibling, he’d be just as obsessed with the baby as he is with Briggs!

We couldn’t be happier to know that Gus found the perfect family for him to feel right at home in. Soon enough, Briggs won’t be able to live without his little brother!
