There’s nothing better than witnessing love and ingenuity intersect. It’s a constant recipe for success, if you ask me. Unstoppable! And we see this notion truly come to life in a recent video shared by @mylabrachildren on TikTok, where one family has crafted up a fancy wagon to pull their injured Labrador, Humphrey, ensuring that he can also get out of the house and enjoy a walk with his family like everyone else.
Also, I’m not crying…I just have something irritating both my eyes. But really, this is as heartwarming as it gets. It’s such a clear example of the unconditional love and insanely strong bonds that are shared between humans and our pets.

I have to assume Humphrey was once living his life wild and free, as all young dogs do, but we all know that each passing year takes a toll on our bodies one way or another. That doesn’t mean that we should ever lose hope, though. In fact, not at all! There’s always a way to find happiness; there’s always an avenue to lead us wherever we want to be. Sometimes…it just takes a (super cool) wagon ride to get there.

What happened to Humphrey?
Our buddy Humphrey might not be mobile at the moment, but that wagon is taking him on more than some fun family walks—it’s also helping guide his current road to recovery! Humphrey unfortunately had a bulging disk and underwent surgery last summer, but as we see, his resilience is all too apparent. He’s been doing physical therapy and continues to get stronger by the day, and it goes without saying—it’s incredible to see.
You just can’t keep a good dog down.
At the end of the day, this heartwarming tale is a such a humbling example of the creativity and love that can flourish when we’re faced with obstacles. We all deserve a seat at the table! Or…in Humphrey’s case…a wagon bed on the walk.
