Her soulful eyes reveal such a gentle determination as she delicately debates to tap her friend. There’s a clear sense of care in every one of her movements and it’s just the sweetest thing ever. And the way she gently stretches out her paw (almost like she’s testing the waters)… it’s almost too cute.

But with each tender movement, the world’s politest pup inches closer and closer. All the while, she continues to display such an unparalleled level of patience and consideration, it’s actually pretty mind-blowing. If, for whatever reason, there was ever an award for “The Cutest Alarm Clock Ever” I think we all know who’d be taking home the prize.
Are Border Collies typically compassionate dogs?
Border Collies are known for their loyal, intelligent, and energetic nature. They’re also extremely affectionate dogs, which is just one of the many reasons they make such great pets.
Although their herding instincts can get in the way of socializing with strangers and young children at times (and they can be big barkers when on alert at home), they’re still popular companions due to their protective nature and eagerness to serve a purpose.
That said, they’re a very social breed and require a lot of attention from their owners. So as much as they love their humans, they need that same love in return, as they can be destructive or develop behavioral issues when left alone without mental and physical stimulation.
So generally speaking, spending time with your Border Collie and keeping them busy is the key to their happiness.
And on the subject of physical stimulation, these pups require a lot of exercise. Many Border Collies enjoy playing fetch, frisbee, and other games with their owners. They’re also great runners, so taking them for a jog or dog-friendly hike can be a great way to bond while keeping your pup (and yourself) active.
As far as a “man’s best friend” is concerned, though, look no further. Through all of life’s ups and downs, wins and losses, good days and bad days, these dogs (like all dogs) will always be there for you, and their body language will certainly show it.
I mean, just look at this pup’s eyes! The way she looks at her mom for confirmation simply adds an extra layer of cuteness, which I wouldn’t have even thought was possible.
When she finally goes in for the cuddle, however, I can’t even begin to explain how happy I was. Even then, she approaches so delicately. But it looks like some scratches (and hopefully some well-deserved cuddles) were about to take place. Mission complete! I sure wish I could be woken up like this every day.
