If you need a dose of cuteness for the day, we have you covered. This photoshoot featuring a baby dressed as the Grinch and a Golden Retriever as the Grinch’s dog Max, will leave you smiling from ear-to-ear and full of enough holiday joy to get you through to 2024.
In the clip, we get a short but adorable clip of a behind-the-scenes look at the Dr. Seuss-themed photoshoot. We can’t decide who’s more cute— the baby or the pup!
@rebeccalci Where are you christmas? 🎅🏻 #mrgrinch #babygrinch #grinchmas #babychristmas #christmas #goldenretriever
This toddler and Golden seem to be a perfect pair! Both of them are amazingly calm despite wearing costumes.

We love our furbabies so-much, so it is no surprise that many families with dogs love to include them in their family photoshoots. If you want to include your furbaby in your pics, go for it!
Tips for a Successful Photoshoot With Your Pup and Little One
If you want your baby and dog to have a successful photoshoot, we’re giving some tips and tricks for a successful session.
To take a posed shot of the baby and dog, try getting the baby posed first and then carefully place the little human where you want them. Some photographers like to put babies on big comfy chairs and then have the dog pose next to the chair.
Then, if you’re trying to capture a candid moment between the two and it sadly stops the second you pull your camera out, don’t put your camera away. You never know when something might happen a second or two later.
In addition, if you’re trying to take a posed photo of the baby and four-legged friend, but the animal refuses to cooperate, just photograph what they are doing in the moment. You might end up loving what you capture!
When it comes to your dog, if they have a ton of energy, it’s always a good idea to walk them before the photoshoot. Hopefully they will do their business before the photoshoot. At the end of the day you know your dog better than anyone else, so plan based on their energy level and unique personality.
All in all, if your goal is to capture real moments of your babies and pets, then all you need is yourself and your camera. However, if your objective is a posed shot or two, I suggest getting as many adults as possible to help you out. Don’t be afraid to get your village to help you out if you need them!
