Oh my goodness, how sweet is this? Gucci and the two deer approached each other, curious but cautious, and exchanged some sniffs, nose boops, and even a kiss or two. It seems clear to us that Gucci was in search of some new friends, so hopefully this isn’t the last they see of each other!

This sweet interaction is notable because these two species are not known for social interactions outside of their own species. Despite coexisting in the same habitat, rabbits and deer typically do not directly interact with each other, and their interactions are primarily limited to encounters as they pass by each other.
