The Coronado Democratic Club
The Coronado Democratic Club is hosting Lorraine Esgate, co-chair of Reproductive Freedom For All, as its keynote speaker on Saturday, Oct. 14.
The meeting is set to take place from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Winn Room at the Coronado Public Library.
Esgate will share insights on the current landscape of reproductive rights and actionable steps for local advocacy.
There also will be a Q&A session for those who want to get involved in protecting reproductive freedoms, organizers say.
Reproductive Freedom For All is an organization dedicated to ensuring every individual has access to comprehensive reproductive health care and the freedom to make personal decisions regarding their reproductive lives.
Through advocacy, education, and community mobilization, the organization strives to create an environment where reproductive rights are safeguarded and respected.
Republican Women’s Club
A meeting of the Republican Women’s Club, Coronado Crown City will be held at the Coronado Historical Association Lecture Room, 1100 Orange Ave., on Friday, Oct. 20.
Planned speakers are Susan Kennedy and Ruth Weiss who will discuss election integrity.
The meeting begins at 9:15 a.m.
All Republican women are welcome to attend. Men are also welcome and encouraged to become associate members. In addition, Independent and undecided voters are welcome, organizers say.
