There are a whole lot of animals on this planet, and some are definitely cuter than others. While many of us will have our own opinions on the cutest animals out there, sloths make the shortlist for so many.
On October 14, the Cincinnati Zoo (@cincinnatizoo) shared a video on TikTok that totally helps strengthen the idea that sloths are some of the cutest animals ever. Take a look.

In a 12-second video posted by the zoo, we meet up again with Lightning, a mama sloth, and her baby sloth named Juno, who was born at the zoo earlier this year, in June.

In the new video, Lightning is holding Juno, and she looks like the most adorable, loving mama. In her arms is her baby, Juno, who looks like they could really use a nap.
Juno gets a kiss from mama before returning the affection, and then Juno shows just how tired they’re feeling with a big, giant yawn.
After the yawn, Juno nuzzles right back into mama, and that short clip had everyone in the comment section really in love with this cute family.
“Big yawn from baby sloth Juno,” the caption of the video reads. And it didn’t take long for thousands of comments to be left on the video.
“What a cute baby,” one person wrote.
“Good mommy and baby,” another shared.
“Aweee, sloths are the sweetest,” another wrote.
“I’m pretty sure I was a sloth in my past life because this is literally me,” someone else shared. “Could sleep all day every day.”
“I’m even more in love with sloths now!” wrote another.
“That has to be the most adorable thing I’ve EVER seen,” admitted another. “I love sloths so much.”
According to the Cincinnati Zoo, Juno was born at 7:35 p.m. on June 7 to 10-year-old Lightning. Juno is the first baby sloth–called a pup–the zoo has helped to care for.
We’re so thrilled to see that both Lightning and Juno are doing well.
