On Wednesday, October 18, a family shared some very precious autumnal pictures from a recent photoshoot with their baby and Golden Retriever, Lady. In the clip, the dog and baby help their dad carve out fun designs in a few pumpkins before posing in front of their creations.

Oh my goodness, this is unbelievably precious! Lady’s dad helped the two siblings carve their pumpkins. The baby had leg holes carved so she could sit inside of the pumpkin, while Lady’s pumpkin was carved as a mask for her to place her head in when laying down. The skill is impressive and the subjects of the photos are adorable!

We must say, we aren’t surprised Lady is so beloved by her family. Golden Retrievers are known for their loyalty, patience, and love for children, making them great companions for families. Their intelligence and trainability also make them easy to integrate into family routines and activities, while their boundless energy ensures they can keep up with active kids and be a source of joy and companionship for all family members.
In addition to these wonderful Golden Retriever traits, raising a dog and a baby together brings many benefits for the baby. Having a dog can foster a sense of companionship and empathy in children, teaching them about love, responsibility, and compassion from an early age. Dogs also provide comfort and emotional support, contributing to a child’s overall emotional well-being.
