Corgis are very fun to watch. Their little legs make walking so amusing, and the way their fluffy butts wiggle as they waddle is just too cute. What could be better than watching a corgi walk?

Well, it looks like “dozens of corgis dressed in little costumes” might take the cake, actually:

I am seriously so jealous of @lica_wear for getting to be there. How unfair!

The corgi march happened at this year’s BLVD Festival. The festival takes place in September every year and includes tons of fun activities, food, and drinks. It’s basically like a state fair, but, much cooler: no state fair I’ve ever been to has had a corgi parade!

In case you needed more proof that this is the most incredible thing to ever happen to humanity, the official name of the event is the “Corgi Pawty.” The parade, which typically includes dozens of these cute little guys, started in 2021. This year, there were over 200! They dress in costumes and then take part in a fashion contest to see who had the best one.

Corgis have paraded before: notably, outside of Buckingham Palace after Queen Elizabeth II passed away last September. She kept corgis for her entire life, basically, and it’s been said that she loved them very much. Last year, the Montreal Corgi Pawty took place about a week after her death, and some of the Corgi caretakers even paid tribute to Her Majesty with their costumes.

Corgis might not be able to walk very fast, but they love to do it. They were bred to be herders, which means that they’re very active and love to run. Albeit kind of slowly. It’s not their fault they have teeny little legs!
