The Coronado News extends a hearty congratulations to Coronado High School Valedictorian Adam Perez and Salutatorian Ryan Kimura.
As valedictorian, Perez is the top student among the 273 graduating seniors in the class of 2023, while Kimura as salutatorian ranks second among graduates.
Perez also received the Edward J. Sheil Memorial Scholarship, while Kimura received the Rotary Club of Coronado/Jim Vernetti Service-Above Self Scholarship.
During the graduation ceremony on June 15, Perez told his classmates they were among the most talented people he has ever met.
“I urge each and everyone of you to share your unique talents with the world,” he said.
